Checks

After you get braces, you will come to us for regular check-ups so that we can keep track of your progress. This is usually every six to eight weeks.

We check how your brace treatment is going, but also whether you brush your teeth properly, as this is especially important with braces. Furthermore, we adjust your braces where necessary or fit your braces with new active wires. Of course, you will have the opportunity to ask questions during the check-up appointment, for example about the expected duration of the treatment.

After adjusting your braces, they may cause some complaints, such as tooth sensitivity. This is normal and will subside after a few days. However, if the pain persists for longer or gets worse, contact the practice.
