If it doesn't bother you too much, you can leave it alone and call for an appointment. If it does bother you, put a ball of wax on it and call for an appointment. It is better not to use rubber bands.
  • With fixed braces, something stings the cheek or tongue.
The thread needs to be shortened. Cover the irritating part of the brace with sugar-free gum or wax. Make an appointment with us as soon as possible to have the irritating part of the braces removed. If it is a weekend or holiday, the orthodontist on duty can help you.

  • My rubber bands are gone.
You can pick them up at the practice every working day between 08:30 and 17:00. If you do not live in Veghel, we can also send them. If you send us an e-mail and mention which rubber bands you need (it's on the front of the bag where the rubber bands come in), we will ship them the same day.
  • The ring (strap) around the molar, to which the outer brace must be attached, is loose."
Leave the outer bracket out. If the ring bothers you, you can cover it with sugar-free gum or wax. Make an appointment with us as soon as possible to have the ring reattached.
